Our trip to Bodrum was short lived, we spent less than 24 hours there. Good thing that. Beautiful town and gorgeous blue sky, but full of tourists, and incredibly expensive. We're talking 'Perth prices'. So we went to the only bit of the beach that's free to go to, became mates with a fairly large dog that used us for our towels and stomach rubs, and then left the next morning to come to Fethiye. Unless you're willing to fork out big bucks, I'd recommend bypassing this tourist-filled city and heading straight to Fethiye or elsewhere along the coast.
