Backtracking a little bit from yesterday's slightly disastrous day, here are pictures from our first day in Fethiye!
Fethiye is a beautiful little town in the bottom left (south-west) of Turkey, not nearly as busy or expensive as Bodrum, and really chilled out and great. We spent our first afternoon and evening here just wandering around the town, Chewy had an apparently delicious vegetarian kebab, and we marvelled at the sculpted greenery by the harbour as you'll see in the pictures below! In the evening we walked up to the old castle ruins on the hill, from where we had a lovely view over the town at night.
How wicked does this little guy look?! Definitely want to get some of these to send back to friends in Perth.
